DEVOTIONAL PRAYER

The Hail Mary Prayer

…spread the effect of grace of Thy Flame of Love over all of humanity

“The Hail Mary with the Flame of Love petition is a distinct prayer rooted in the traditional Hail Mary but extended with a powerful petition inspired by messages received by Elizabeth Kindelmann.”

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee.

Blessed are thou among women

and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners,

Spread the effect of grace of thy Flame of Love

over all of humanity

Now and at the hour of our death.

amen.

How the Prayer Originated

According to the Spiritual Diary of Elizabeth Kindelmann, on February 2, 1982, Jesus explained that this added plea, prayed with the Hail Mary, would lead to humanity's conversion through grace:

“It is exclusively thanks to the efficacious pleas of the Most Holy Virgin that the Most Holy Trinity granted the effusion of the Flame of Love. By it, ask in the prayer with which you greet My Most Holy Mother: 'Spread the effect of grace of thy Flame of Love over all of humanity, now and at the hour of death. Amen.' So that, by its effect, humanity is converted.”

— Jesus to Elizabeth Kindelmann, February 2, 1982

Not a Change — A New Prayer

The official documents of the Movement are very clear that this is not a change to the Hail Mary but is its own prayer:

“Even though it starts from the traditional text of the Hail Mary it creates a new prayer, but it does not affect the original prayer and does not require anyone to change it.”

— Dr. Zoltán Kovács

“We must mark, that the praying of the Hail Mary with the addition is neither a 'correction of', nor an 'addition to' the original, nor some variant of it, but a self-sufficing prayer, independent from the original Ave Maria.”
